I hope you are doing well.

We are currently working with the PAROL6 robotic arm, and we already have a standard ST-LINK/V2 programmer (the USB type with female jumper wires).

I would like to ask whether the official PAROL6 programming adapter is strictly required, or if it is possible to program the PAROL6 board by directly wiring the necessary pins using jumper cables.

Specifically:

Is it safe to directly connect ST-LINK/V2 pins  to the PAROL6 board without using your adapter?

If direct wiring is allowed, could you please provide the exact pinout or pin mapping for the PAROL6 side?

Is there any risk of damaging the board or programmer if we connect it manually?

Since we already own an ST-LINK/V2, we want to confirm whether purchasing the adapter is mandatory or just a convenience accessory.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

You can use any stlink adapter but you need to be careful to connect pin to pin as described in parol6 docs. If you dont you will kill the board
