I built a SSG-48 gripper and plugged it on my PAROL6 robot. The spectral board has its LED on, but the calibriation doesn't work. The documentation mentioned that I need to send some commands to it over serial to place the BLDC controller in the gripper mode and enable the thermistor. I guess that shall be the reason. Could you explaine in more detail how I can do that?

Many thanks

The jaws & racks were not fitted. Wiring continuity checked ok for power and CAN 1 connections. CAN jumpers were on the PAROL6 board. The motor phases can be energised by AA battery.

The spectral board is as purchased apart from having wires soldered on. The motor had no response when clicking the 'calibrate gripper' button in the PAROL 6 commander software. But if I turn the motor by hand, the gripper current feedback in the commander software would show some randomly changing values.

Is there anythibg I missed in the setup?

Thanks

We will need more info to debug. Did you first calibrate the motor without the gripper jaws?
