How to position 2 bevel gears accurately? Is there any math that I could use?
I know that for spur gears, for them to mesh the central distance must be (PitchDiameterA + PitchDiameterB) / 2. But what about bevel gears?
I plan to use fusion360 to design this, but until now I only eye out the position which I believe would cause backlash and inefficiency.
