I have a a 3d printer and want to build this arm myself ordering the parts from the BOM.  I am a professional software iOS engineer and have always wanted to learn kinematics and been interested in robot arms.   I want to learn kinematics and programming.  Using the Python API can you achieve some bare bones kinematic programming?  I was thinking it would also save on the cost as well.  It seems like all you would need is some motor drivers and some circuitry to distribute the power evenly from the power input to the different drivers.

Thanks.
